The Gray Academy Orange County is a non-profit, non-public school serving students TK-8 with moderate to severe disabilities.
About Us
The Gray Academy was originally founded in Santa Monica in 2018 by Kristen and Gordon Gray. In 2023, they opened The Gray Academy OC in Laguna Niguel to serve the children of Orange County with moderate to severe neurological disorders.
Our Mission
Our program is specifically structured to help families meet the challenges that go beyond the classroom and treat the whole child. Our curriculum and related services have been uniquely designed to provide both the high-level and complex special education and therapy needs of students all in one location.
Our Approach
Utilizing a customized, holistic approach to learning and therapy, The Gray Academy OC integrates its academic curriculum with highly-specialized therapies for children with moderate to severe neurological challenges including (but not limited to): speech or gross developmental delays, gross and fine motor challenges, and cognitive impairments.
For exceptional children with neurological needs
Criteria for acceptance to the school includes (but is not limited to): rare diseases, genetic disorders, traumatic brain injuries, mobility challenges, and impaired immune systems, among other medical conditions.
